Roxanne Huertas

Roxanne Huertas is the Senior Director of Human Resources & Business Services at Rutgers University–Camden. She serves as the primary HR business partner to senior executive leaders, providing strategic guidance across all facets of human resources. Roxanne oversees HR and shared services, drives compliance and risk management efforts, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. She plays a key role in aligning HR practices with institutional goals and navigating the dual accountability structure between RU–Camden and University Human Resources. Roxanne also serves as the primary liaison to University Labor Relations, the Office of General Counsel, Risk Management, and Ethics and Compliance. With over 15 years of service at Rutgers–Camden, she finds the most rewarding part of her work to be contributing to the transformation of the institution and its strong partnership with the Camden community. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jennifer Williams is the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Rutgers University–Camden. She oversees core HR functions including talent acquisition and talent management and provides consultative support to department managers and supervisors. Jennifer ensures operational execution in areas such as recruitment, performance management, and policy compliance, while also contributing to strategic initiatives like process improvement and workforce planning. She collaborates closely with the Senior Director to ensure consistent HR service delivery and engages with central partners to resolve challenges and implement change. Jennifer enjoys partnering with campus leaders to develop solutions that support their goals and foster a positive, inclusive workplace.

Natalie Barron

Natalie Barron is the Senior Department Administrator at Rutgers University–Camden. She leads employee engagement initiatives such as appreciation programs and recognition activities, and ensures these efforts align with HR operations and campus priorities. Natalie also coordinates New Employee Orientation, conducts exit interviews, and provides retirement consultations. She works closely with HR leadership to integrate engagement and development efforts into the broader HR framework, supports operational alignment among HR staff, and oversees office management and communications. Natalie is passionate about creating a supportive work environment and connecting individuals with the resources they need. Janine McKinney is an HR Consultant at Rutgers University–Camden. She provides operational and consultative support across core HR functions, with a focus on position classification and recruitment. Janine also develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with institutional policies. She enjoys learning how different roles across campus contribute to the university’s mission and values the opportunity to connect people with meaningful opportunities. Diana Byrd

Diana Byrd is an HR Consultant at Rutgers University–Camden. She provides HR support to the campus community, with a primary focus on faculty and grant-funded staff employment processes. Her responsibilities include position management, recruitment, and compliance, and she serves as a liaison to faculty, managers, and the research office. Diana supports the full employment lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to employment changes and separations, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with institutional policies. She enjoys working with the campus community and loves exploring university campuses while traveling, appreciating the unique character each one offers.
Brianna Espinosa is the HR Staff Associate at Rutgers University–Camden. She provides transactional and administrative support to the HR team, coordinating student worker hiring, assisting with HR-hosted events, and managing daily office operations. Brianna plays a key role in maintaining the logistical backbone of the department, supporting documentation, scheduling, and communications. Her contributions help ensure the successful execution of employee engagement, talent development, and management initiatives. Brianna enjoys creating a welcoming and positive work environment when interacting with faculty and staff. Outside of work, she loves traveling and experiencing different cultures.

Emily Donnelly is the Talent Development Specialist at Rutgers University–Camden. She designs and delivers learning and development initiatives that support staff growth, team effectiveness, and leadership capacity. Emily leads workshops, training sessions, CliftonStrengths-based development, and team-building activities, ensuring offerings are responsive to campus needs and aligned with institutional priorities. She collaborates with HR leadership and campus partners to promote a culture of continuous learning. Her goal is to uplift others so they can lead with confidence, clarity, and kindness. Outside of work, Emily is a drummer on a dragon boat team, a triathlete, and is studying to obtain her pilot’s license.
